Odds and ends

The kids are on summer break (April & May here). After 3 great weeks of summer camp in the morning, we haven't been up to much. Sadly, Matthew's had a very bad bout of diarrhea w/fever for a while. He's on the mend now but not out of the woods yet.

+ Good news: you can have a stool sample collected from your house, analyzed and a report delivered to your door with one easy phone call all for Rs 200 ($4.50 USD)

+ Lots of time at home = some funny conversations...such as Matthew's revelation, "You can't really see my eyebrows because they're hidden."

+ I have an increased gratitude and compassion for my own mother and the many board games she endured. I am just about maxed out on Candy Land, Chutes & Ladders, Junior Mastermind, and Guess Who. We've done every puzzles in the house, read lots of books and watched some videos, too. It's too hot to go outside between 9am-5pm, unless you're in the pool... not a good idea with diarrhea.
