Patting myself on the back... and missing you all

This weekend I made eggnog. And it tasted pretty much like eggnog!

(I made a cooked version to ensure the health of my family.)

Most of our expat friends have returned to their home countries or are traveling over this holiday season. And many Indian friends travel or host family in this season, too. We're feeling a little homesick these oddly warm days. :) We are really looking forward to a visit from my bro and his lovely wife after Christmas.

We know you are all busy in this season; it's been good to have a radically less busy Advent season... we don't miss the hustle and bustle of shopping, etc. But we do miss you!
