p.s. Happy to say my neighbor is a Spaniard (don't think he's Hindu) and in my defense, I was having Shae's team over for dinner, had scoured 4-5 stores for it, and then resorted to picking... I thought it was an amusing anecdote, shared it at dinner, where I learned about "Tulsi".

Oh, my! I'm so glad your neighbor was Spanish and not Hindu. Does that mean people generally don't cook with basil in India? How sad!
